I met dog trainer Alex Mena when she and her partner came to me as a dog training client for two of her dogs. Having trained dogs since 2002 I have come across a few people that have a natural ability to train and handle dogs. When I met with Alex and Jason during the demonstration/meet and greet I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of dogs and confidence. During our demo I even told her that she could be a dog trainer. I rarely tell people on the spot “you have what it takes to become a trainer”. Of course words can just be words. I’m thrilled to share that Alex took what I said to heart and began her journey of becoming a professional dog trainer. I’ve been fortunate to train many people to become a dog trainer and I have never seen anyone pick it up as quickly as dog trainer Alex Mena. What impresses me the most is her attention to detail, her love for the dogs, her ability to figure a new dog out right away and get results nearly instantly.
